Incorporating an array of live instrumentation, found-sounds and soulful electronics – the production terrain of the record shifts towards diverse musical exploration, anchored within head-nodding, soul shaking beats.

    An LP of inimitable storytelling and unique production, Divas and Demons features some of Australia’s brightest hip-hop and soul artists. Simon Mavin (Hiatus Kaiyote), Sampa Tembo (Sampa the Great), Jordan Rakei, Baro, Silent Jay, Tom Scott (Average Rap Band), Lorry (Hiatus Kaiyote), Nui Moon and Cazeaux O.S.L.O. (Man Made Mountain) all lend their talents to various moments throughout the record.

Sometimes you’ve said all you can say, and you need your family to come through and shed new light on a situation. Cazeaux does this for me in life as well as in music. When Sensible J first played me this beat, all I could hear was Cazeaux spitting some left of centre Knowledge he is so well known for. He also helped me collect my thoughts and tie the album up in a way I never saw coming. Thank you my brother. Oh btw..SENSIBLE J IS CRAZY FOR THIS ONE RICK!!!!!!!!!!!! - Remi
 
Another all live joint. Started off just playing the kit to a click track for fun, again just 2 mics cos of my "vintage" Pro-tools M-Box, added some badly played guitar chords and bass. Godriguez was in the studio with Sampa when we recorded "For Good", and the legend that he is, added some TASTY guitar to this joint in one take. We lucky we know people that can do that sorta stuff. Cazeaux, you family, and you blessed us with your gifts. You took this one up 50 levels. Thank you. - Sensible J
